How can I synchronize calendars from two systems?

I would like to keep the calendar entries and contacts synchronized between
the Outlook systems at home and in the office. None of them is using an
Exchange server in the background.

How do you accomplish such task?

Thanks for the information.

Some of the tools request me to copy PST files, uploading data to an FTP
site, etc but I would like this function to happen directly and automated
between these two systems, via eMails, and that I can control which entries
are getting transferred, i.e. only future Calendar entries.

Any ideas/hints for a product capable of doing this?

The only tools I know are listed on the page I cited.  A ten second Google
search turns up a potential free utility here:
