I am wanting to schedual an appointment in outlook at late evening that may
carry on to the next day.  The problem is, the view that I see on my calendar
looks like two appointments.  One appointment starting in the evening, and
the other starting at 12am in the morning, the next day.  Is there any way
that I can make my calendar less confusing to look at so it does not look
like two appointments?

I don't think you can do that since Outlook splits days along their natural
boundaries.
