I get an error message when I start-up Outlook regarding an error with
reminders. Message indicates that the program cannon find recurrence
information about a reminder. Subsequently, no reminders appear.
I have tried to eliminate all reminders, but this has not worked. I also
tried to start outlook in the Start, Run dialog box with
outlook.exe/resetfolders/cleanreminders. I get an error message that it
cannot find folder.
Any suggestions?

You need a space before the "cleanreminders" - the resetfolders switch will
do nothing for your reminder service.
The shortcut should look like "outlook.exe /cleanreminders" - notice the
space after the .exe and before the /.
