Outlook won't show my appointments before mid-January 2005.  They still
exist; Google Desktop found them.  How can I get them back?

They have probably been archived.  Check for .pst files on your hard drive -
you probably have one named archive.pst.  OPen it in Outlook and see if your
older appointments are there.
