Former versions of Outlook allowed changing Busy to Free, Tentative or Out Of
Office by keyboard input of "F", "T" or "O".  Outlook 2003 does not,
requiring mouse intervention, which is a pain.  Am I missing something?

You can hit Alt-W for "ShoW time as" then use the up & down arrows to change
the type
