I am used to the Outlook view from Office XP in which I could see the
calendar and my task list on the same screen.

Is there a way to get Office 2003's Outlook to show me both in a single
view?

yep - View | TaskPad - it's just not a standard View in 2003   :(

Then drag the edges of the TaskPad as wide or tall as you want.
