Yes, I think if you have 2003, you can change the background color. This
changes the background color of your calendar and thus the hilite color of
the day, all in a palette related to the color you choose for your background
color. If you have 2000, you do not have this option. But in 2003, go to
Tools/Options/Calendar Options and there you can check Background Color. I
don't believe you can make the current day color a totally different color
than the choice of background color. Does anyone else know that?

Actually, in 2003 you can change the background color to a different color,
the hilite of the day color is amber (I don't know how to change that), so
any other background color besides yellow, and you will see the hilited day
easier.

Thanks, that works on my home PC - it didn't occur to me to change the
background to a different color to make the amber show up more. At work I
must have 2000 because that is grey, not amber.
