when you type something on the calendar or when you create a meeting or an
appointment it just dissapears it doesn't stay there.

To see where your appointments are "going", click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next
and examine the "Delivery new e-mail to the following location" drop-down at
the bottom. That's the delivery location and the Calendar in that data
store is what is receiving the appointments. Since that data store must be
in your mail profile, looking at the Folder List view in the Navigation Pane
should show the Calendar in that store.

This doesn't help you see it on your calendar or to keep it on your calendar
if a meeting happens later in the week or even month.

Well, yes it does because then you can fix the reason why you're looking at
the wrong calendar.
