I am based in the Arab world, where the work week is Sunday-Thurs. I want to
change my monthly calendar view to reflect this. I can change the 5-day work
week, but the monthly view still has Sat/Sun as smaller boxes. Is there a way
to shift the whole monthly view so the weekend is Fri/Sat?

What version of Office are you using?  AFAIK, EMEA versions are specific for
your region and show the correct work days.
