Is there a way (Registry tweak?) to cause the Outlook 2003 calendar's Date
Navigator (small view of one month) to remain displayed outside the calendar
function?

I display the shortcut bar at the left side of the Outlook window. When I
open the calendar, the Date Navigator appears above my shortcuts. I would
like this mini-calendar to remain in view when I switch to other Outlook
functions, specifically the email client.

I think the best you can do is to right-click your Calendat folder and
choose Open in New Window.
