Events lasting multiple days appear as recurring events each day.  Can I
combine into one banner that spans the effected days?

What view are you using? Also, please always state your Outlook version, as
there are currently 5 versions (not counting modes.)

Mine appear as one long event in Month view.

Can I assume, since there is no reply, that it is not possible to banner in
Outlook Calendar 2003?

Can I assume that you don't want to answer mine first?  What view of the
calendar are you using???

Also, what are your beginning and ending dates for this event?

Hello Milly, I'm looking at monthly view.  Is there another answer you're
looking for  since I did state that earlier?  I have tried Monday - Friday,
Wednesday-Friday.  You said dates, so are you looking for numbers?  23rd -
25th.  14th - 18th.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

How are you creating this event?  If you use the beginning and end
dropdowns, mark it as an all day event, and don't give it a recurrence
range, the event will span the days on which it occurs.  Mind you, this is
for events which are all day items.  It will not work with appointments.
