Brian:
Thanks for the input.
1. Forgot to list WM 5.0 in the "vitals".
2. Could I trouble you and ask, when you mention "notes field", you are
talking about the "box" under the event/appt. details that appears in the
window when opening up an appt./event - correct?

Correct. On the PDA side, it's the Notes tab of the appointment. On the
Outlook side, it's the large space within the appointment itself.

Either I'm doing something wrong or it's some "issue" with the software - my
guess would be WM 5.0
Thanks for the quick reply. I'll keep searching for a solution.

This is driving me bananas ... I just synced and all the notes that I
actually copied and pasted manually into Outlook are gone. They're still
there on the handheld but gone on the PC.
I just did notice this note in the AS 4 help file:
"Note Some features supported in your personal information manager (PIM)
may not be supported in Calendar. These features may not be synchronized or
they may be synchronized incorrectly."

Thought I had it all figured and bam ... last night I lost a week's worth of
notes from both the PC and the device. :(
