I am a nurse who has a rotating holiday schedule. How do I set a recurring
event in Outlook for nonconsecutive yearly dates, ex: everu third 4th of July
or every other Thanksgiving?

For Thanksgiving you can create it on the fourth Thursday to recur every 24
months for every other year or 36 months for every third year. Fourth of
July is a static date so that one's easier.
