I have been reading the posts but I still don't get it. I have two calendars
that I need to merge. Is there an auto function for that (from what I read
there is not.) So how do I do it manually? One caledar is fairly new so it
won't take too long. I can't find that View By Category that every is
talking about....I have Outlook 2003 and I am using Widows

Open one of the folders, select the items in it, and copy them to the other.
There are multiple ways to do this, but Edit>Copy to Folder works.
