I've found a number of helpful/relevant posts on this newsgroup using google
but can't find them when I search from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us

even when I use a string that I know is the subject of the post.

For example,
this google search result describes a problem I'm having with Outlook
Calendar
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.outlook.calendaring/msg/ee08abaf
49624450?dmode=source

this appears to have been posted on the microsoft newsgroup from the headers
(unless I'm mistaken, which would explain why it doesn't show up on
microsoft.com).

Why doesn't it show up on microsoft.com?

Thanks!

The search on Microsoft's community site seems to be broken.

Not to be a wise guy, but does anyone seem to be fixing it?
