When I try to "Save and Close" a new appointment I get a error message saying
"The item could not be saved to this folder.  The folder has been deleted or
moverd, or you do not have permission.  Do you want to save a copy of it in
the defult folder for the item?"

If I click "Yes," I get another error message saying, "No description is
available for this error."

I never deleted anything!  This just started this morning.  Please help!!!!

I'd do the following and test after each.

1) Use the Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.EXE) if you're using a PST for
delivery.
2) Help>Detect and Repair
3) New mail profile in Control Panel's Mail applet.
