Hi,

We are using Outlook 2000 / 2002 with Exchange 2003 and I have a question
relating to when creating a new meeting request.  When you add the users to
the meeting some people can see the description of the other persons busy
times, this is done when moving the mouse over the busy periods on their line.

My question is how can you turn this on for all users or turn off for all
users?  I know it must be a client option as it doesnt effect all users, but
cant seem to find the option, and my manager doesnt was her meeting details
shown to everyone.

Tools->options->calendar options->planner options.  Uncheck the box to show
calendar details in grid.

I've tried this, and it doesn't seem to work (Outlook 2002). The details for
my appointments still display in Group Schedules, etc.

If your issue is that the manager doesn't want everyone seeing the details
of their meetings, just set the permissions correctly on the boss' Calendar.

If you leave the Default level of permission as None, no one apart from the
boss will see the details of the boss' meetings.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
