Message: "Cannot import vcalendar file"

Hi

I'm using Microsoft Outlook XP/2002 I've been sent a meeting.ics, when I
double click on this file to view/accept I get the error message "Cannot
import vcalender file"

Can you please advise what this error means and how do I resolve this
problem.

Where did the file come from? Typically that message means the file is
either missing something that Outlook needs or has a field in it that
Outlook is choking on. It's hard to diagnose without seeing the whole file

The message was sent from an external supplier to wants to have regular
monthly meetings.
The attached "meeting.ics" opens fine on a couple of systems here that have
Outlook 2003 but unable to open with Outlook XP/2002 gives "Cannot import
vcalender file"
