Turn on Advanced Toolbars and look in the Current View Window - what view
are you looking at??? Recurrence or something strange like that?

After furious head scratching, Seattle0950 asked:

| of them in the Calendar view. Where could they have gone?

I noticed in the Today screen in the Calendar list that is says "calendar"
above it. I put my mouse pointer on that, clicked, and my correct Calendar
view showed up. It is still there. I am not certain exactly what happened,
but I have it back now. Thanks for the help!!!
