Viewing appointments in Month view

In month view, some past dates and current dates which no longer have
appointments are incorrectly shown in bold.  If I open one of the days in
question, there are no appointments shown, but the date still appears in bold
on the month view.  This does not occur with future dates - only current or
past dates that at one point had appointments that have since been deleted.
Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Start Outlook once with the /cleanfreebusy command line switch and see if
that fixes it. Click the Start menu, choose the Run command and enter:
Outlook.EXE /cleanfreebusy
