Synchronizing Outlook Calendar with Web App.

I have a web application which contain a Calendar module. User now want to
synchronize their appointments in Outlook with this web application. What is
the best/simplest way to do this?

My question is very similiar to tony's

if you provide the appointments in ical format they can click on an item to
add it to their calendar. This is the easiest unless you want to get heavy
into outlook programming.
