Hi all,
our site has had a few problems lately where end users have unbeknowns to
them deleted items from their personal calendar.

When a user deletes an item that does not involve a resource booking or
include attendees or is not re-ocurring Outlook does not prompt the end user
to confirm the deletion.

Is there a way to ensure that an end user is prompted to confirm a deletion
using the above scenario.

We use Outlook 2003 with Exchange server.

Also is there a way to audit this type of activity?

Regards
Steve

Are they using blackberries or pdas? Either can result in deleted calendar
items.

No, you can't be prompted... And I don't believe current versions support
auditing.

Diane,

they are not using any hand held devices at the moment but thanks for your
reply.
with regards to the auditing and prompting........bit of a bummer so I guess
they will need to be a little more careful.

Steve
