How do I set up a company-wide calendar to monitor deadlines?

I have six attorneys and their support staff that would like to have a
company-wide calendar and be able to post the deadlines - hearings, trial
settings, client appointments possibly, etc. How do I do this?  Our software
is Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1

You'll need some kind of backend server for that.  Exchange public folders
can do this.  Absent Exchange, see if something here helps:
