OL2000 & OL2003:

Hi all - I am tearing my hair out over this one.  We have several Resource
Accts. set up as Conference Rooms (no one person as admin) set to Auto
Accept.

All are configured for publishing 12 mos. and there seems to be no dif. in
their configurations.  However, users have noticed that on some of these
mailboxes only 2-3 months of free busy info is being displayed.  Others can
see 6 months while others still, show the 12 months or more.

Any ideas will be very helpful!

Make sure all users -- not just the conference rooms -- are set to publish 12 months. Direct booking means that the Outlook client that does the booking generates new free/busy data, using the settings on that client.

I did check and each user is also set to publish 12 months.

Thanks for the response Sue (have your books and am always at your website).
I had user run a GPO to get all clients on 12 month free/busy and so far so
good.  I worry about them changing their settings but I figure I can lock
that down somewhere.  Thanks again!

If you've done it with a GPO using a registry value in HKCU\Software\Policies, users won't be able to change it.
