After syncing with PDA my calendar is GONE? Can I get it back?

After syncing my computer with my PDA, all my calendars disappeared.  Where
did they go?  My computer is regularly backed up on a network.  Where do I
look to restore it?

Did you delete the items on your PDA which might have caused Outlook to
delete the items on the PC. How is the computer backed up?
