Forgive me if I seem not so smart but not sure what i cal and v cal are.  I
simply go in to the calendar part of Outlook and type in the meeting
information, then send the invitation by email.  When it is received in my
employees home computer inboxes, it has a lot of computer language and
somewhere in there is the invitation, but very hidden.  Can I fix that??

reminders unchecked.
