Opening vCalendar invitations

I regularly receive email invitations carrying a .ics attachment.  Opening
the email does not launch the invitation.  If I try to open the .ics
attachment directly I get a "cannot open vCalendar invitation" message.
Saving the attachment and then trying to import it gets a corrupt file
message.

I suspect this is a settings issue but I've tried everything and still can't
get round it.  Any ideas.  Thanks

What version of Outlook are you using? Also, can you send one of these files
to me? I'd like to see if it's a certain field in the file causing an issue.

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP1.  I'll send a sample to your email address.  Thanks.
