palm iiixe will NOT archive folders with office 2003

I purchased Office 2003 and tried to hot sync my Palm IIIxe with it. I get
an error but can't read it because my computer goes to fast. This error
appears daily only one time. I then noticed that none of my data is in my
archive folder so I have information from 2002 in my Palm taking up storeage.
The settings are set for auto archiving but it doesn't do it.

If you run a manual archiving (File menu > Archive) does it work?

Vince:

I tired both ways suggested ways on the (File menu > Archive) screen. I
have changed to path to the file and everything. I just am at a loss.

Do you get any error messages when trying to archive? Is your archive PST
file under 2GB?

I get an error message as soon as I hot sync every day but not every time I
hot sync. For instance, I could hot sync 3 times a day and I only get the
error message the first time I hot sync that day. My archive PST file is way
under 2 GB. I use to get error messages in my Outlook folder that says
"conflict in Archive files." I have the pocketmirror so I have that same
message in my pocketmirror files in Outlook also. This only happened when I
upgraded to Outlook 2003.

All my events in my calendar since 1999 are still in my little 8mb Palm.

Did you check the size of your archive PST?

Also, do you have a general idea of when that error happens?
