Whenever I open MS Outlook 2003, I get the error message, " There was a
problem reading one or more of your reminders.  Some reminders may not
appear.  Cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment."

I have too may reminders to have to delete and re-enter.   How can I get rid
of this error message?
Thanks.

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch.

Brian ;
Thank you for the reply.   However, I did run the command:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /Cleanreminders
But this did not fix the problem and I am still getting the error message.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Renee

I ran the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe"
/Cleanreminders fix, and it partially worked.  Now, I get an error message
that says... "Cannot Start the Reminder Service, Unable to Show Reminders".

Now try /resetfolders. That will reset the hidden Reminders folder and
should allow the reminders service to start.

Thank you for the reply.   I did try the reset as well, but that did not work
either.   I finally went thru all of my recurring events and found one that
had an error.   After I deleted it, the error message went away.
