I recently upgraded to Microsoft Office 2003.  I used to use Microsoft Office
2000.   In Microsoft Office 2000, I used to be able to put an Outlook
Appointment icon in my Windows Quick Launch bottom task bar for me to click
on whenever I need to make a new appointment without having to click on the
Outlook program & click Make New Appointment.

Does anyone know whether Microsoft Outlook 2003 has such an icon and if so,
where do I go to find it to put in my Windows Quick Launch bottom task bar?

Create a shortcut that uses this command line (based on default installation
path):
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.EXE" /c IPM.Appointment

That will open a new appointment form
