I have several shared calendars that I view on a regular basis as a group and
wanted to know if there is a method for "linking" or organizing (folders?)
these calendars so that I can find and/or select the group I want to look at
more quickly (similar to categorizing contacts and viewing them in
categories).

No, not by categorizing them. What version of outlook?  You can view Group
schedules in one window - see the action menu or install an addin if you use
an older version of outlook.
