Reminders in Calendar are lost

I think the file that stores reminders for the calendar are damaged.  Got an
error message that windows couldn't open a file on startup of Outlook 2000.
Now it doesn't remind me about items I asked it to remind me again at a
future time.  The current reminders seem to work and will popup again when I
ask to be rereminded.  Is there anyway to get the old reminders back working?

Thanks West

Start Outlook one time with the /cleanreminders switch.
start->run->outlook.exe /cleanreminders.
