When I set an appointment, it defaults to 18 hour in the reminder.  How can I
change it to default as 1 hour?  The Tools, Options, Calendar default
reminder isn't working for this purpose.  Please help.  Thanks.

An appointment or an event?  If you double-click a day to create an entry,
that will create an all-day event by default.  All-day events always have 18
hour reminders and you can't change that.

If you click File>New>Appointment, what default do you see then?
