How to schedule a follow on meeting?

Instead of duplicating the work of scheduling a follow on meeting request
(ie. inputing attendee list, titling meeting, etc) it would be nice if I
could just copy the meeting (or at least the list of atendees) from the
original meeting and then make any necessary changes in the creation of a new
(follow on) meeting.  Does Outlook have an easy way to create a meeting
request from an existing meeting request?

Yes, drag and drop.  Right click and drag the original meeting to the
proposed date for the follow-up meeting in the Date Navigator.  Open it
there and edit what is required.
