Why can't  I imput dates into my calendar

When I try to save any dates in my calendar I get the message "outlook can't
save file" ? This just started happening.  When I click "new"  nothing
happends at all.  If I try to forward an email into my calendar nothing
happends either.  Thank you

After furious head scratching, NHAgent asked:

> Actually I did by accident.  I never really shut down my pc and after adding a new program I was forced to restart my pc.  When it came back up all of my appointments showed back up and my calendar is running normal now.  Thank you .
