I said move the *items*, not move the folder. Did you look at the By Category view as I suggested?

Thanks Sue - now makes sense and found the By Category view which I never
knew existed. However, it only brings up the holiday's - I guess, I've never
assigned categories to the appointments. Am I doing something wrong? Also,
I've replied to Brian but I'm now stuck on how to copy items to paste them in
the new calendar.
Thanks for all your help so far.

Hi Sue / Brian
Done it! I played around with the Views and brought the options up in the
nav pane. When I clicked on the By Category option, all appointments appeared.
I was probably doing the By Category view in the new calendar which is why
there were only holidays!
As I said, too many calendars cause me mass confusion.
Thanks to you both for your help.

You have to open the old calendar, select all the items in it, and copy them
to the new calendar. You cannot move the folder itself. This is true for
all the default folders: Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items,
Tasks, etc.
Including an old set of folders into a new Outlook installation is easy.
Start Outlook, click FIle>Open>Outlook Data File, browse to the old PST,
select it, and click OK. All the data is now available. You can even make
it your default again with just a few clicks.

Thanks Brian - I feel really thick on this one - I can't for the life of me
work out how to copy multiple calendar items in order to paste them into the
new calendar. I've tried all the tricks I know - right-click etc and even the
help files.
Can you help?
Thanks
