Sync public calendar with local one

Is there any way to syncronize your exchange calendar with one posted as
public folder without using third part tools?

If not, do you know any good tool i can use to keep a local calendar up to
date with a public one?

The goal is to sync the public entries with a palm device ...

Here would be a list of 3rd party tools:

BUT for this function:

I would use a 3rd party tool to sync a Public Folder directly with a Palm
device becaue HotSync can not sync with aPublic Folder but 3rd party
products can:
