The data navigator continues to disappear from the calendar view. The task
pad displays the entire length of the calendar. The calendar view I would
like to maintain should have the Day Calendar with the date navigator on the
left side of the screen.

Who can I restore the data navigator?

Drag the top edge of the taskpad down to reveal the date thumbnails. The view you want is available only in Outlook 2003.
