MS Office Forum / Outlook / Calendaring / October 2003Unable to delete duplicate copies of recurring event
I have changed from using Lotus Organizer to Microsoft Outlook and had a problem when I imported one date from my palm. One of the dates was in Organizer from 1899 - a birthdate of a grandparent. But when this date was brought into Outlook I now have 22 copies of the recurring event on that date. I discovered that there is a problem importing events >100 years (Knowledge base article 290038). The problem is I cannot figure out how to delete these events. I have tried to delete them several ways and nothing seems to work. Has anyone else go any suggestions about how to get rid of these events? Try using the <shift> + <delete> key to delete them.
