I had two calendars but only needed #2.  Reminders for #2 would not work
(error msg: The reminder for ----- will not appear because the item is not in
your Calendar or Tasks folder.  Is this OK?).  Copied all information from #2
to #1.  Reminders work now but I cannot get default calendar to synchronize
with my hotmail account like they did with calendar #2.  Help is greatly
appreciated!

Did your check the setup for the synching with your Hotmail account perhaps
it is still pointing to the original calendar.  Also does Hotmail have to
synch with a personal folder or can it actually synch with your main
mailbox?

Thanks so much for your reply!  I'm not sure how to check the setup with my
hotmail account (I didn't do the original setup ).  I can synch calendar #2
with hotmail but not #1.  I'd like to get rid of one of them but the
reminders for #2 don't work and the hotmail doesn't synch with #1 :(  If I
could somehow get it so I have one calendar that works with the reminders and
also synchs with hotmail, I'd be so happy!!!  Thanks, again, for your time!

Unless you're using Outlook Live and a Hotmail Premium account, I don't
think Outlook will do what you want without third-party tools, if they exist
at all.

I really appreciate your response.  I do actually have Outlook Live and I'm
pretty sure I have a hotmail premium account.  I have been able to synch my
calendar with my hotmail account - but only for calendar #2.  The problem is
that the reminders don't work with calendar #2 (I think they only work with
the default calendar?)  What I would like, ultimately, is one calendar for
which the reminders work AND will synch to hotmail...  Any ideas?  Thanks so
much for your time!

That is correct.

You can purchase a tool that will allow reminders to work in ANY calendar:
http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm .  "Reminder Manager" looks like the
one you might want.
