problem exporting MS outlook calendar

when trying to export my calendar to excel the "import and export progress"
box shows the process about 3/4 complete and will not go beyond that point.
To clear it I have to close outlook and re-open. I was able to successfully
export the calendar recently but now it keeps freezing, anyone experience
this before or have advice?

Have you tried it immediately after a new reboot of Windows?
