HELP. I have Outlook 2003 for Win XP. It's been running fine forever
until today.

Last night, Outlook was doing some funky things dropping stuff into my
"favorite folders" area. It dropped in "Calendar." I didn't want it
there, so I right clicked and asked it to remove it. I didn't ask me if
I were sure, so I figured that this was just a visual removal and not a
complete calendar removal.

My calendar showed up fine until I restarted this morning and opened
Outlook again. Here are the weird symptoms:

1) When I go to Calendar, it's a blank calendar. When I look at
OPTIONS: CALENDAR OPTIONS, the colour I've chosen for my calendar is
NOT the colour I see when I go to the calendar. The calendar is
completely blank. Not a holiday, not a single appointment I've put in,
completely blank.

1b) When I go back to CALENDAR OPTIONS and tell it to install US
Holidays, it says US Holidays are already installed. Yet when I look at
the calendar it shows me, they're not there.

2) All of my reminders are coming up at the right time. I just got
reminded for my lunch appointment with the correct info and label and
so on, but the appointment doesn't show up in the calendar!

3) My whole calendar is sync'ed to my Windows Mobile cell phone. All of
the calendar stuff is in my phone, and when I sync, nothing gets
removed from the phone and the sync doesn't generate any errors.

This tells me that somewhere in the universe is my calendar. It hasn't
been deleted. It's there and sync'ing as well as firing off reminders.
I just can't see it or add to it. It's showing me a blank calendar with
the wrong colour and no holidays.

HOW the heck do I get it to go back to showing me MY calendar?

Thanks.

Outlook doesn't do things on its own.

Sounds to me like you're looking at a calendar other than your default
calendar.  Display the Folder List and select your calendar from there.
What do you see?
