Thank you for your response. I tried detect and repair outlook 2002 then
opened it with cleanreminders but exact same error shows up.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I finally got the issue resolved. It had to do with the time zone missing in
Date/Time under settings. The time zone registry was removed by Registry
Repair 2005 when I used it to clean the registry. Reinstalled the registry
key and problem was resolved.
