Is there a way to put an item from the All Public Folders into your
favorites folder (or someplace easier to get to) instead of digging down
through Go/Folder List etc. Thank you.

Drag the folder to Public Folders\Favorites.

What type of folder -- mail, contacts, etc.?

Thanks for the reply.  It is a calendar. I just drug it up to my mailbox to
test and it appeared. That's ok to do isn't it? It shouldn't have an effect
on that public calendar.

Drag the folder to Public Folders\Favorites.

If you dragged it to your mailbox, you made a copy of the folder in your mailbox. You are not displaying the original folder. Any changes to one will not be propagated to the other.

You might want to try what I suggested.

I'll take it out of the mailbox. I 'm doing this on behalf of others in my
organization and I just want to make it easier for them to get the that
particular public calendar. I guess there is no other way to make it easier
other than what you suggested?

It's a one-time operation. They should find it quite easy.
