It would be nice if we had the possibility to set the out off the office
inside an calendar event. (I.e. I book my vacation for a week in my calendar
and I set the out off office flag. Between those days, the out off office
will automatically notice people that I'm currently not available and will
stop as soon as the calendar event is finish.)

I would even be nicer to being able to write an out off office message
personalized to each calendar event.

Exchange 2007 + Outlook 2007 will let you set up the next out-of-office message in advance, even separate internal and external messages, if the admin permits external messages.
