reminder in a *shared* calendar

Qs.

We have a few shared (public) calendars. We use it, for example, to set
meetings for new employees. The Human Resource manager schedules a meeting
for x and y and it is done using the public folder so it will not appear in
the HR's calendar.

The problem is that all these invites arrive w/o the reminder checked. Each
participant can check it manually, but no one does it and everyone is late to
the meeting... :)

Is there a way to have the reminder checked as default?!

Hi

reminders only work in default folders of Outlook not in subfolders or
additional PST files or Public Folders of Exchange.

For reminders in not default folders you will need a 3rd party solution:
