Forwarding Calendar problems

I'm trying to forward an appointment to one of my colleagues. Unfortunately,
when I try to do a regular Forward, I get an error on sending that Outlook is
unable to connect to my server. Regular mail seems to connect and go through
fine, it's only the forwarded calendar that won't.

When I try to forward as iCalendar, I get an error "The operation failed."
I'm using Outlook 2003 with XP Pro. I never had this problem when I was using
Win2000 but only since I upgraded to XP Pro.

Is there some setting or something I can do to get it to work in either form?

Is there no one out there who can help me with this problem?
