deleting/ back up pst files

Office Xp- my outlook pst files have maxed out. help says clear unwanted
content to reduce file size. I cannot open files to copy/move or delete. I
would like to back up or create an additional file  or save to CD, but i
cannot access into pst files.

If you can't get into the PSTs, you may have to use this approach:
