Create a resource to schedule

Hello,

We created a new Outlook mailbox, called "Test Lab." We want to use this as
a resource to schedule, so that we can see its calendar (so people can see if
the Test Lab is available at whatever time they need), and that people can
schedule meetings/appointments to it.

We have created the mailbox, but when I try to see the Shared Folder, it
tells me there is nothing to display.

Is there some other way that this can be set up as a resource so that other
users can come in and see the Test Lab Calendar schedule and schedule times
for use via the calendar?

Thanks.

Have you added any items to that Calendar folder yet? It can't display anything if there's nothing there.

Sue,

I've sent it a couple requests. Who would approve them? I tried to go into
the "Resource Scheduling" through my Outlook options, but I couldn't figure
out a way to have the Test Lab resource automatically accept invites where
there was not a conflict.

Do I have to be logged in as the Test Lab to set up these options? Or do I
have to get our Outlook Admin to set it up correctly?

Thanks.

No one approves requests if you're using the direct booking method described at http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/skedresource.htm. Did you remember to invite this calendar specifically as a resource?
