Cancelled Meetings not removed from Resource Booking Calendar

Hello,

I have seen in several other forums people having the same issue as me but
really no solution has been offered. (Or at least a solution that works.)

I have several Conference Rooms setup for resource scheduling.  The
Scheduling works great.  However, if a user deletes or cancels the meeting,
it only updates the Resource Calendar with a tag that states" Cancelled".
This is fine, but what we want is the "Cancelled" tag to be gone as well, as
if the meeting was never there to begin with.

Is there a setting somewhere I am missing to make this happen.  I have tried
several combinations of things and have not been able to come up with
anything successfully.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

We are experiencing the same thing.  Were you able to find a solution for
this issue?

No, I am sorry I have not.  I read that it is a design feature, which sounds
silly to me.  I did find a company though creates a program called Exchange
Resource Manager.  The program supposedly will eliminate the problem, but I
have not had a chance to really play with it. You can download a full blown
trial version that allows you to manage 2 resources.

I think what is necessary is to have a delegate manage the calendar and
clean them out manually.

Let me know if you figure anything out.

thanks,
